Requirements

Bun ≥ 1.2 — the CLI and every app run on Bun.
Qt 6.8+ (Qt 6.9.2+ on macOS — older 6.8.x links the removed AGL framework) — only if you build the host from source or use the --slim toolchain (pulsar build --slim / pulsar install --slim). The default toolchain and builds bundle Qt, so end users need nothing extra; its platform dependencies (X11/Wayland, fonts, GPU drivers) still come from the system. Building from source also needs the Qt WebSockets module; QtMultimedia is optional and enables the in-app desktop video player.
